Rain is likely on Halloween – just the exact timing is still up in the air.
Best way to get a grasp on timing is to dive in the models, which can still be wrong!
The latest HRRR model (below) shows a line of moderate rain moving thru during the afternoon and evening, mostly out by 8pm or so, with lingering on/off showers possible.

The latest Euro (below) shows a few showers during the evening, but holding the majority of the rain until after 10pm.

Another model, the HREF (not shown) depicts a similar situation to the HRRR, with the majority of the rain earlier in the evening, departing around 8p with on/off showers possible afterwards.
Which one is right? Who knows! Maybe none! That is the unfortunate trick that we have to deal with – imperfect models.
Plan for the worst (rain out), hope for the best (dry candy getting). Worst case scenario, you can buy the biggest bag of your fav candy and eat it indoors. No need to worry about the neighbor that passes out raisins (no disrespect to the yogurt covered ones tho – those are yum).

No severe weather is expected for us. Maybe a rumble of thunder, but any strong stuff is expected to stay to our west. Rainfall totals expected to fall in the range of 0.5 – 1″.
Some leftover showers possible Friday morning, but rest of the weekend looks dry and warm. Next rain chances maybe mid next week.
