Models continue to indicate that we could be in for some rain Thursday afternoon and evening. While exact timing is still iffy, current guesstimates are not the best news for trick or treating.
The Euro (left) and GFS (right) continue to be quite consistent in agreement with rain in the area during prime trick or treat time.

We are getting closer the “within 48-hour window” and details should become clearer soon.
FWIW, the NAM3k (not my fav model) shows rain holding off, allowing for dry trick or treating, but right now this seems like an outlier.
And the HRRR model (below) shows rain knocking on our doorstep at 1p on Halloween (as far out as the model currently goes.)

The good news is that all models agree that severe weather is not a concern. While a rumble of thunder or two can’t be ruled out, all the severe concerns are expected to stay well to our west.
Expected rainfall totals of 0.5 – 1″ will be beneficial.

Besides some potential lingering showers Friday morning – the rest of our weekend looks dry.
Minus Friday, high temps will continue to be ~10° above average.
