Dry Weather Pattern Ahead, Cooler Temps Early Next Week
Thursday, October 3, 2024 · Elan
High temperatures above average thru Sunday, then a cold front pushes thru sometime Sunday PM, knocking our temps down to where they ought to be this time of year – bringing in more of a Fall feel.
No legit rain chances to talk about over the next 7 or so days. That cold front may bring a quick shower Sunday PM, but meh – chances look very low at the time.
We are mostly drought-free after the recent rains. Majority of us are left in ‘Abnormally Dry’.
Almost all of our two counties removed from drought designations in today's weekly Drought Monitor. Abnormally dry is considered a "pre-drought" category. Still could use a bit more rain locally to catch up, but soil conditions here have certainly improved. pic.twitter.com/PP7QiO9YoT
