While the temps haven’t been just unbearable, it just doesn’t quite feel like Fall just yet. And it won’t over the next several days.
Starting tomorrow (Thursday), we should see afternoon high temps reach 90° several days, including this weekend, adding onto our already above-average total of 90°+ days in 2024.
If there is a silver lining, dewpoints will be nice enough to us where it won’t feel much different than the actual air temp, if at all.
No rain chances until the beginning or middle of next week. No help to our on-going drought. New drought monitor comes out tomorrow for an update on if the past rain helped us at all.
Good news, the Blend of Models shows average temps returning towards the end of September.
