Temperatures on the Climb, Still No Rain Chances in Sight

We’ve been blessed with below-average temperatures the past few days; some may have needed a light jacket this morning with a low of 58 degrees. Unfortunately, temps will be right back up around-normal Thursday, then remaining above-average for the remainder of the forecast.

Thankfully, dewpoints will only be up in the low 60s, so the heat index won’t feel much different than the actual air temperature.

Still no legit rain chances to discuss over the next 7 days. A new drought monitor will come out tomorrow, and I expect it to reflect our recent dry streak. It’ll get worse before it gets better, with below-average rainfall expected to stick around for the 8–14-day range.
