Although higher probs exist to our NE, both of our counties are outlooked with a 5% chance of damaging straight-line winds and/or hail within 25 miles today. We are not included in any tornado probabilities.
And with our very low chances of seeing a severe storm, our chances of seeing any rain are also pretty low. HRRR model gives its’ best guess:

- most models agree most of the activity will stay up in KY where higher severe probs exist
- however, can’t totally rule out a few storms drifting down into our area
- any storm could contain heavy rain, lightning, and potentially some gusty straight-line winds
- if you have any outdoor plans today, it’ll be a good idea to keep an eye on the radar (and as always we’ll be tweeting updates as needed on X/Twitter)
Then starting Sunday, our weather will be quite nice for some time.
Temperatures will begin to drop and we’ll get several days of slightly-below average temps. Dewpoints will also drop to a much more comfortable level, another little taste of false fall.
No rain chances as of right now for all of next work week.
