Showers/Storms Tonight, Mostly Good CMA Fest/Weekend Weather

Most of the rain we saw this morning has already moved out, with only a few showers left over. Models think all the morning activity will be gone by around lunchtime, and we get away with a dry afternoon.

Unfortunately, we won’t be done for the day, as a line of showers and storms is expected to move in after sunset tonight, shown below by the HRRR model.

No severe weather is expected – heavy rain, lightning, and maybe some gusty winds possible but nothing crazy.

After that, we are left with not too bad of a weekend forecast.

“Cooler” (minus Thursday) temps with highs in the low 80s.

Not a lot of rain chances to discuss.

There might be justtt enough moisture available Saturday afternoon for a few showers to pop-up, but the chances of you seeing rain are quite low. Doesn’t look like plan-altering rain.

Greater rain/storm chances exist Sunday during the day – but deets still fuzzy and models disagree. Check back in for updates on this. Thankfully, no severe weather chances in the forecast.
