Hard freeze expected tonight with low dipping down into the mid 20s. We’ll wake up with temps in the upper 20s.

“We’re still about 2 weeks from our last average freeze date, so this isn’t abnormal, but it’ll be painful for anyone who jumped the gun on planting.” – NWS Nashville

If you have planted, make sure to tuck them into bed with a blanket, and if you haven’t planted – I’d wait. The saying around here usually goes to wait until around Tax Day to plant.

Thankfully we’ll warm up pretty quickly this week, with no more sub-freezing temperatures expected in the foreseeable future.

Marginal fire danger returns Tuesday, with dry conditions, low relative humidity values and some 20 mph wind gusts. Outdoor burning is still discouraged.

Dry weather expected thru Thursday, then some light rain chances come around.

“Showers are expected to hold off until late Thursday night and last through Friday evening, but we’re still expecting less than 0.25 inches of rain.” – NWS Nashville

Seems like we shouldn’t have any rainouts, no hazardous weather expected with this either.

Saturday + Sunday = dry + warm.
