Rain, Rain, and More Rain. No Severe Expected Though.

Majority of us have been able to stay dry today, and likely will remain dry thru the remainder of the day.

The same cannot be said for Tuesday, as showers are storms look likely throughout the day.

The HRRR model (above) shows rain/storms moving in Tuesday morning around 6 or 7am, lasting on/off throughout the day. Some thunder is possible, but all storms are expected to behave and remain below severe limits.

Wednesday a few scattered showers may remain, but I think most of us should get a mostly dry day.

Thursday looks dry before more rain moves in Friday + Saturday.

“Best shot at rain for the next round will be Friday morning, and rain chances will continue through Friday and Saturday as well. This next round of rain amounts has also decreased a little, now showing around an inch to 2 inches, bringing the weekly total to 1.5 to 3.5 inches or so.” – NWS Nashville

Specific timing for this round still is up in the air, but good news is right now that this system looks to stay tame as well, no severe weather in the forecast for now. No flooding concerns either.

High temperatures stay around 70 degrees during the work week, cooling off a bit as we head into the weekend.
