Saturday Looks Like A Washout, More Rain Monday

We’ve been dodging rain/t-storms today and will continue to do so for the next while before rain clears out for the night. I think most evening/night plans will be dry, but having a rain jacket on standby would be nice.

This break will not last long, and models think we get drenched Saturday.

HRRR model (above) shows:

  • line of non-severe t-storms arriving ~ 7- 9 am Saturday (subject to change)
  • on and off rain, mostly on, hanging around nearly all day, continuing into Saturday night
  • roads that easily pond could very well do that tomorrow, but no major flooding issues expected

Majority of Sunday looks dry, if your Super Bowl plans are outside, ehhhh it could be iffy, stay tuned.

The Euro model (above) shows:

  • maybe some scattered showers Sunday evening (other models think we stay dry, we shall see)
  • more on/off rain Monday
  • not worried about any severe storms, or winter weather (ah yes, middle TN, where those two terms can be used in the same sentence)

Tuesday we return to dry weather, for at least a little while.
