Unsettled Pattern Starts Thursday PM

We had a wonderful day today, but unfortunately all good things must come to an end.

At least the first half of Thursday will be nice, but rain chances start to creep in as we hit the PM hours and stick around for the weekend.

HRRR model (above) shows:

  • rain chances starting ~ 5 or 6pm Thursday
  • on/off rain chances continuing into Friday
  • some heavier rain + thunderstorms possible during the day Friday, but no severe weather expected
  • tough to nail down specific ETAs, not a bad idea to keep a rain jacket nearby

The HRRR model only goes out to 6pm on Friday, so the Euro can pick up where it left off.

The Euro (above) shows Saturday being a pretty wet day, with periods of heavy rain, and maybe a thunderstorm. Still, no severe weather expected.

We should get a break from rain during the day Sunday, before more rain arrives Sunday evening continuing into Monday. Again, a thunderstorm is possible, but no severe weather is expected at this time.

Total rainfall totals look to amount to around 1-2″, manageable.

Although we have quite a bit of rain to deal with, at least our temps will be decent.
