Beautiful Weather Until Thursday PM, Rainy Weekend Ahead…

We didn’t quite make it to 60° today, but with plenty of sun we still had a beautiful day.

Wednesday will be even warmer, with high temps in the mid 60s with plenty of sun.

First half of Thursday will be nice, with high temperatures returning to the low 60s.

Unfortunately, this wonderful weather cannot last forever, and rain chances creep in to ruin the fun.

Rain chances will begin sometime Thursday afternoon/evening, and last thru Saturday night.

  • it won’t rain the whole time, more of an on/off deal, shown by the EURO model above
  • no severe weather is expected, but some thunderstorms are possible

We should get a break from rain chances during the day Sunday before more rain chances.

“…another round of widespread rain and a few thunderstorms from late Sunday through early Tuesday.” – NWS Nashville

  • no severe weather expected with this round either
  • not a bad idea to think of an indoor plan if you have outdoor plans for the Super Bowl

There are some mumbles about the possibility of rain turning into snow as the rain exits Tuesday, these events almost never please snow-lovers, so I would advise keeping any hopes down. We’ll keep an eye on it.

In total, rainfall totals of around 1-2″ are expected, which will help to improve our dry conditions.
