A few of us have gotten lucky (or unlucky depending on how you see it) with some rainfall today.
A few more of us may have another shower or storm pass thru this evening. No severe worries, but lightning is possible. When thunder roars go indoors.
More showers and storms are possible Wednesday. A few storms could be strong to severe. The Storm Prediction Center has outlooked both of our counties with a 5% chance of damaging straight-line wind and/or severe hail within 25 miles. There is no concern for tornadoes.
The HRRR model thinks we may see some storms on our way to school or work in the morning. Then, dodging additional showers/storms throughout the rest of the day. I wouldn’t totally count on this exact model solution, just know showers/storms will be possible in the afternoon + evening as well.
Calm Rest of the Week
Rain chances really fall off Thursday and stay low into the weekend. High temps also relax into the mid 80’s. Waking up in the low 60’s may give you a hint of fall, but it’s not here yet. Don’t get too excited.
