The Dawg Days of Summer

Today will be the only guaranteed dry day of the week, albeit chances the rest of the week will be fairly low.

HRRR model (above) shows a line of broken showers/storms moving thru the area tomorrow afternoon. No severe weather expected, but a few storms could be on the stronger side with some gusty winds. When thunder roars, go indoors.

The rest of the week we’ll be hoping for our daily Wattery chances to cool us down, especially Wednesday and Thursday when a Heat Advisory may be needed for heat index values around 105°. Blah.

Overall, probably a fairly dry week ahead. GFS and EURO models think we only see around half an inch of rain the next 10 days. This will vary from street to street, as your neighbor may be very lucky with the Wattery. Time to hit the pool.
