The Wattery is a funny game. Everyone plays, but not everyone will win. Also unlike the lottery, which if you win, you are happy. If you “win” the Wattery, some people may not be so happy.
It reminds me of the sweepstakes you’d see on the back of certain snacks. I’m convinced no one ever won those.
Wattery chances will be daily throughout the weekend, mostly in the afternoon thru evening.
Above is the HRRR model guess at what the radar will look like today. It most likely won’t look exactly like this, but it’s a guess.
No severe weather expected today or tomorrow, although some strong storms can’t be ruled out. Saturday we’re outlooked with a 5% chance of severe weather within 25 miles, main threats being damaging straight-line wind and hail.
Saturday and Sunday will be the two days with the highest Wattery chances.
Decent rainfall totals expected thru Wednesday. No widespread flooding problems expected.
