Air Quality Alert Today, Oneish More Dry Day, Lots of Wattery Playing Next Week

Air Quality Alert will be in effect all day today. “Ground level ozone concentrations within the region may approach or exceed unhealthy standards. The general public is not likely to be affect. Active children and adults, and people with a respiratory disease such as Asthma, should limit prolonged outdoor exertion.”

No rain chances today. High temp will be pushing the 90° mark. Thankfully dewpoints will be in the upper 50’s, so it won’t feel miserable. Sun will dominate today.

Rain chances return tomorrow, but you may not see anything, which would be nice for dad’s day.

HRRR model (above) thinks we’ll dodge (or not) showers/storms in the afternoon, and then rain will be falling apart as it gets close Sunday night. No severe weather expected – lightning, heavy rain and gusty winds possible with any storm tho.

Week Ahead

  • daily Wattery chances, with Monday having the best chances
  • no severe weather in the forecast
  • rain chances decrease later in the week
