Dry + Warm Start to the Week, Opposite Ending

Today – Tuesday will be great for any and all outdoor activity. You may even break a sweat tomorrow with high temps pushing 80°. No rain.

Wednesday afternoon/evening rain chances increase, and they’ll stick around for the rest of the week. Rainfall totals Wednesday thru Saturday look to be around 1.5″, although that number may (probably will) change as we get closer.

Where has winter been? We’ve had multiple 80° days, severe weather, but not much winter weather to speak of.

Snow fans, you’ve probably been fairly disappointed this season. Not much to speak for in the snow category this winter. Although there is no snow in the current forecast, March snow events aren’t unheard, just think back to last March. For the record, Nashville’s latest measurable snowfall is April 25, 1910, with 1.5″. Never say never.

But for cooler weather fans, I do have good news. Temperatures should generally be below average looking at a week or so out. Our average last freeze isn’t until April 6th, don’t put away the jackets just yet.
