Cold and Dry until the Weekend

Now that the rain has moved east, the cold front that caused our story day yesterday is causing temps to plummet.

We’ll be in the 40s today and below freezing overnight.

Cold temps hang out on Thursday and Thursday night before warm air and rain move in on Friday. The bad news is that we’re in for a pretty wet weekend. The good news… we need the rain.

In the morning AFD NWS Nashville said

Right now it looks like this system could bring some very heavy rainfall to middle TN with storm total precipitation from Sunday morning through Wednesday morning at 3 to 4 and half inches of rain.

This will, in combination with our rain yesterday should all but cure our drought issues. Yay!
