Poncho Weekend Leads To A Dry Week Ahead

Ongoing showers looks to wane away at some point this afternoon, as shown by the HRRR model below.

HRRR model thinks it is possible that more showers develop this afternoon. Unsure if this will actually happen, but even if it does, they look very scattered in nature, and you may stay dry. Looks as if evening plans are good to go but having rain gear close by for the NSC game or other activities wouldn’t be a horrible idea.

Sunday looks wet.

On/off showers/lightningstorms chances look to begin around noon and last throughout the evening. Model soundings show enough instability for these storms to contain some lightning, so delays seem possible for the Titans game. You’ll for sure want to packaponcho or rain jacket. It doesn’t seem like it’ll be a total washout but looks probable that most of us will see rain at some point tomorrow.

We are rewarded with a nice week, looks like we’ll stay dry through at least Saturday. Temps will gradually climb up throughout the week but staying around average. Humidity will be money as dewpoints stay in the 50’s. Still not fall tho.
