Quite The Lovely Start To September, Won’t Last Too Long

Pleasant day today, with high temps in the upper 80’s with dewpoints in the upper 50’s. Which is reallll nice, until they go back up into the upper 60’s tomorrow thru beginning of next week, which is not so nice.

We’ll stay dry today and probably tomorrow, HRRR model (below) wants to toss in some showers sometime Friday afternoon, but looks hopeful it’ll be clear for some high school football.

Saturday begins a pretty active period rain chance wise, as we’ll have daily Wattery chances through at least the middle of next week. No severe weather or widespread flooding is expected, but the occasional strong storm with gusty winds, heavy rain and lightning can’t be ruled out. Your Labor Day Weekend plans shouldn’t be totally rained-out, but having a backup plan which includes some shelter wouldn’t be a bad idea.

Temps will be relatively tame with highs staying in the mid 80’s.
