Warmer Temps On the Way + Weekend Rain?

A cool morning turning into a pleasantly warm day. Super dry atmosphere = clear skies and lots of sunshine.

A surface ridge will bring us progressively warmer temps in the coming days. Highs in the 80s by the weekend. Well above average this time of year. Extra moisture will come with it. A little more cloud coverage and rain chances start to creep in over the weekend.

Rain is possible on Saturday, but the models aren’t fans of the idea. Chances are higher on Sunday. Looks like a “series of impulses” per the NWS. Not severe weather material. Iffy on timing, but here’s what the GFS has to say right now:

GFS Composite Reflectivity, Sat. 10am – Sun. 7pm

We’ll have a better grasp on ETAs once hi-res models come into range. Warm, but more active weather pattern into next week. Updates coming soon!
