Sunny & Windy Today, Freezing In The Morning, Rain/Storms Wednesday.

Beautiful weather today with a high near 60 and a low in the 30s. The HRRR shows no rain. That’s all off east.

It is going to be a bit windy out today with sustained winds 15-20 MPH and some gusts around 20-30 mph. The wind will relax tonight.

Gardeners Beware

Freezing and below freezing temps Sunday morning should occur for a few hours around sunrise. If clouds clear and wind dies down we may even see frost in spots.

This may not be our last freeze of the season.

Storms Wednesday

A line of heavy rain and probably storms will sweep across Tennessee, rough ETA late Wednesday afternoon/night. Here is the Euro model:

SPC has the severe risk just off to our west, but that may change.

Right now the Euro shows dewpoints in the mid to low 50s with no CAPE. If that’s what ends up happening we will not get severe weather. Fingers crossed.

Stay tuned! Forecast model resolution at this range is poor. I expect the forecast to change (hopefully for the good!).
