Temperatures start rising today with highs reaching the low 90’s up until Saturday. Dew points also rise to the upper 60’s by the end of the week. Ugh weren’t we enjoying that humidity break?! Rain chances begin to gradually increase as does the heat.
Alright Let’s Talk Rain.
Models don’t fully agree on how close the gulf tropical system will get to us. The Euro brings it the closest, but thinks we miss the majority of the rain. If it sends us rain, it would likely be Sunday.
GFS keeps the system well SE of us.
If this system comes much further north than the models depict, we could get a lot more rain. But, we don’t see that happening right now.
For the beginning of next week, a cold front will head our way that looks to bring us more rain/storms than the tropical system. Strong storms aren’t out of the question with this round. More on that as we get closer.
