March is Usually Active . . . So Far So Good

On this Day in 1955

There had been 5 straight days of rainfall. It would continue for another 6 days, setting the record in Nashville for the most consecutive days of rainfall.

This record was almost broken 23 years later. Beginning on March 7, 1978, Nashville saw 10 consecutive days of rainfall.

Moving Back to 2021

Luckily it’s not looking like we’ll be breaking those rain records soon.

Started off cool this morning, but will have plenty of sunshine and mild temps by the afternoon.

Sunshine will continue through Wednesday afternoon. Temps will continue to gradually warm over the coming days, with temps reaching the 70s by mid week.

Our next shot at any rain comes Wednesday night into Thursday. This is looking to be more of a “scattered shower” event.

The National Weather Service sums up the forecast pretty well:

Until then, look for spring-like temperatures throughout the 7-day forecast, with only nominal rain chances in later periods.
