Pop Up Showers/Storm Potential Today. Heat Break on the Way

Temperatures this morning are currently at 86 degrees. Expected to rise into the low 90’s. Partly cloudy skies.

A few showers and thunderstorms are expected this afternoon along with a weak cold front. These would occur mainly between 2pm and 8pm. No severe weather is expected.

The HRRR model is keeping us fairly dry, but we aren’t ruling out any pop up showers or storms along the way.

Wednesday

The same set up continues into tomorrow for a chance of showers and thunderstorms to pop up during the afternoon hours. Once again, no severe weather expected. High of 86.

No significant rainfall amounts are expected.

What’s to Come

Heat breaks are coming soon! Dew points are decreasing to allow us to get out of the 90 degree heat starting Wednesday.

Afternoon precipitation chances are expected throughout the rest of the week.
