Big Day For Nashville, Very Comfortable Conditions

Being probably the “pick day of the week”, today is and already has provided gorgeous weather conditions. A north wind continues to filter in cooler air for one more day, keeping our high temperatures down in the mid 70s!

Tonight, if you’re headed to Bridgestone, the Plaza, Broadway, or anywhere at CMA Fest, a light jacket may be required. These cooler temperatures after a string of much warmer weather may feel a bit chilly.

With names like Kenny Rogers, Brett Eldridge, Cole Swindell, Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, and Luke Bryan all playing on the Nissan Stage tonight, in addition to Game 5 of the Stanley Cup, tonight has “celebration” written all over it. GO PREDS!

Awesome Festival Weather, Gradually Heating Up

High pressure will continue to build in this weekend, allowing southerly return flow to take hold by Saturday. In response, temperatures will climb into the 80s, to around 90ºF on Sunday. Humidity will notably also increase on Sunday. Let me underscore that at this time, no rain is expected through Sunday.

Better chances for showers/thunderstorms will be introduced Monday-Wednesday when instability will begin to outweigh the “cap” on the atmosphere.
