Chilly Temps & Showers Linger into the Evening
Not only has today been extremely chilly, it has been fairly dreary. Showers have continued to move ever so slowly across our area. Hopefully showers will push to the east by this evening, but we still could see some showers into the early evening hours.
HRRR keeps showers hanging around until 8 PM ish.
HRRR Loop Now Through 7 AM Tomorrow
Have any outdoor plans or heading out to watch the Preds game tonight at the Bridgestone Arena Plaza? You may want to keep the umbrella handy and grab a jacket before you go.
About our chance to break another record that we talked about this morning. How you might ask? Well, the daily low maximum temperature record for May 5th is currently 56°. If we only reach our forecast high for today of 55°, then we will break the record.
*Update as of 3:47 PM, our warmest temperature of today was reached this morning. It was only 54°. Looks like we will be breaking the record!
Currently 50° at BNA. Looks like that 56° high in 1917 is going down. From @NWSNashville: pic.twitter.com/0ahOhZ1TpS

Chance of Showers During the Afternoon on Saturday, Should Dry Out by Sunday
While most of us should remain fairly dry Saturday morning, there is a small chance of some more showers moving through during the afternoon. Any showers we do see, if any at all, will be heavy but also very brief.
NAM3 Loop 10 AM Saturday Through 7 PM Saturday
By Saturday evening, those with any outdoor plans will be in luck! Showers should finally move off, hopefully leaving us with dry conditions.
Into Sunday, sunny skies look to make a return with highs topping off in the upper 60s.
Sunny Skies and Warmer Temps to Start Next Week
Monday will likely be a continuation of Sunday with warmer temps and plenty of sunshine to go around. By Tuesday, showers look to re-enter the discussion.
