Tonight: Here Comes A Cold Front, More Showers Possible
Update: An approaching cold front will sweep through the mid-state overnight with enough moisture to *possibly* wring out a little more rain (no more than an additional 0.10″). The only issue is that there is dry air and it has tended to keep much of the rain from reaching the ground today.
1AM Wednesday – Cold Front Has Cleared Nashville
A nice pitter-patter on the roof could be quite refreshing, though…something different for a change!
Extended Outlook: Much More Seasonable! First Frost Possible
Thanks to tonight’s cold front, definitively cooler weather is expected to build into the Tennessee Valley. In fact, Wednesday night into Thursday, some areas in Davidson County could see a little frost.
NWS Nashville mentions that a Frost Advisory could be issued by Wednesday afternoon for counties in north Tennessee…which may or may not include Davidson Co.
This cooler, more normal pattern is expected to continue through the week as high pressure takes over control. Another *dry* cold front is expected to visit on Friday, ushering in even colder air. Some areas could experience a hard freeze Saturday night.
In short…
Fall is arrived.
