Slight Chance of Showers Tomorrow, Temps Cool Slightly Through the Week

Current Radar

Tonight: Mostly Cloudy – 9 PM 59°

Fair weather evening in store for us. Clouds will continue to hang around through the evening, so no star gazing tonight.

Temps will cool slightly through the evening dropping into the upper 50s by 9 PM. You may want a light jacket if you have any outdoor plans. If you’re planning to stay inside and watch Monday Night Football or something, that’s cool too.

Tuesday: Mostly Cloudy, Small Chance of Scattered Showers – Wake Up 50° High 71°

HRRR currently has some scattered showers in the wee morning hours and into the AM rush hour. Some of us may see them, most of us probably won’t.

Through the remainder of the day, skies will remain mostly cloudy. NAM wants to keep scattered showers around the area through the entire day, but the “better” chances appear to be in the afternoon to evening time frame. By “better” there is still only a slight chance.

Overall you may want to keep a rain jacket handy if you have any outdoor plans Tuesday night, but even if you win the rain lottery, you will only receive enough rain to water the lawn…if that.

Rest of the Week: More Sunshine, Bit Cooler

After the cold front Tuesday night, high temperatures are expected to decrease a bit. High pressure will remain in control through the rest of the work week. Into this weekend, sunny skies still expected, but the NWS in Nashville had this to say about our temperatures over the weekend:

“Temps will average above seasonal normals through the work week but more seasonable by the upcoming weekend.”
