Tonight: Partly Cloudy – Temps Into the Low 70s Overnight
Decent weather conditions will carryover into tonight. Temps are expected to gradually fall through the evening hours before reaching down into the low 70s early tomorrow morning.
Friday: More Sun, Some More Clouds – Wake Up 72° High 92°
Much of the same from today is what you will see on your Friday. Skies may become a little bit cloudier than what can be seen today, but nonetheless, expecting for that sunshine to still be in full force.
Highs for the day will reach the low 90s with dew point temps sticking in the upper 60s. With the increasing dew point temps, we could see a pop-up shower in the afternoon, but this is very unlikely.
Saturday: Partly Sunny, Increasing Clouds, Chance of Showers – Wake Up 71° High 90°
Things begin to go a little sour as we head into our weekend plans. Should start the morning with partly sunny skies with clouds increasing through the day. Once we hit mid-day, it becomes fair game to see some showers and thunderstorms
A cold front is expected to be making its’ way for us from our North. Showers and weak thunderstorms are expected to develop in front of the front; however, models are unsure if these showers will hold together by the time they reach us.
I know there could be a lot of you planning on going to the Vanderbilt game this weekend. With a 3 pm kick off, if you plan to tailgate beforehand, you’ll probably see a small shower at some point through the day. Bring the poncho and an umbrella for outside the stadium to be safe.
Extended Outlook: Fair Weather Conditions
Thanks to that cold front passing through, we will be seeing some relief from the increasing heat and humidity. Highs will drop back into the low 80s on Sunday and creep up a bit reaching the upper 80s on Monday. Our dew point temps will be in the very comfortable mid 50s both days and stay low through the beginning of next week.
