Looks to be an okay night for Middle TN. Still will have a slight chance of seeing some showers throughout the evening into the overnight hours as a cold front begins to move closer and closer to our area. If you have evening plans, bring the umbrella or poncho. Not expecting a washout with any showers we may see.

Temps will fall a bit more tonight ahead of tomorrow’s cold front with temps gliding down into the low 70s overnight.

Thursday: Cool Down Begins, Sunny – Wake Up 72° High 86°

Great day for us this Thursday with another much needed cool down beginning. A weak cold front will be moving through our area helping to bring in those cool temps and much drier dew point temps. Highs tomorrow will be in the mid 80s with our dew point temps falling steadily through the day from the 70s down into the low 60s.

Slight chance of showers through the morning to the early afternoon hours. Any showers we could see should exit by the mid-to-late afternoon.

Thursday Evening – College football is back!

Kick-off at 7 PM Temp: 80°

Wind: NNE Winds around 10 mph

While we have that slight chance of showers through the day on Thursday, those chances should begin to dwindle as we reach the late afternoon a.k.a time to start your tailgate. Through the game, expecting for partly cloudy skies to start, with mostly clear skies by the end.

Temps will glide down through the 80s in the late afternoon and fall down into the mid 70s through the game. May feel a bit warm when the game starts, but like most night games, could feel a bit chilly by the end.

Extended Outlook: Pleasant and Drier

With the tropical system in the Gulf staying to our south, it will suck all of the moisture from our area, leaving us with sunny skies through the weekend. This weekend appears to be great for any last minute summer plans. Temps will stay in the mid 80s and our dew point temps will be down in the upper 50s/low 60s through the beginning of next week.
