Drying Out This Evening, Then Continued HOT

Current Radar

Tonight: Drying Out, Cooler – 9PM 80°

As a trough slides east of our area towards the Plateau, we will dry out for any evening plans. Don’t forget, tonight is a night of music and barbecue at Nashville’s Rib and Jazz Festival downtown in Cumberland Park! Mmm…barbecue.

Sunday: Hot and Humid, Most Rain Stays East – Wake Up 71° High 93°

Any rain chances on Sunday should remained confined to areas south and east of us. This is where the better energy will be focused for thunderstorm growth. *However*, with temps in the 90s and dew points in the low 70s, we can’t rule out a spot shower. It’s simply the nature of summertime.

Sunday will be a great backyard day: pools, grills, patio lounging…whatever you prefer.

Solid “10” of a landing.

Extended Outlook:

A shortwave will enter the region late Monday into Tuesday, bringing the return of showers and thunderstorms. Otherwise, we continue the same hot and humid weather we’ve all probably gotten used to.
