Daily Storm Chances Continue

Current Radar

Tonight: Rain Moves/Stays South – 9PM 79°

The weather might actually cooperate for the first Saturday night in what feels like an eternity. Temperatures will fall into the upper 70s area-wide and *most* of the rain should be well south of I-40 by sunset.

A nice night to make a Scooby-sized sub and sit out in your hammock is (probably) ahead. Also, the Nashville Sounds game looks good weather-wise!

Sunday: The Return of Humidity – Wake Up 70° High 88°

A ridge to our east will keep us under a southwesterly flow for Sunday and beyond. This flow will usher in warmer temperatures and more moisture as we go through our Sunday.

Thunderstorms driven by daytime heating will be possible area-wide Sunday, and a few could be strong with gusty winds and heavy rainfall.

Extended Outlook:

Again, don’t expect too much of a change this week. Heat and humidity continues for the extended period, with daily afternoon chances for showers and thunderstorms. High temps will be near-normal.
