CMA Fest will be “Hot, dawg!”

Hydration is the new sensation, happening all across Nashville Nation.

9PM and later: When Chris Stapleton, Sam Hunt, Eric Church, Hank Williams Jr., and Carrie Underwood take the stage in Nissan Stadium tonight, temperatures will be gradually declining into the low 80s and upper 70s. Enjoy that star-studded lineup.

Fangirling, any fanning in general is recommended: it’s still going to be hot at that late hour.

Saturday: Repeat on the Heat, Little More Humid – Wake Up 68° High 95°

An uptick in humidity may be noticed Saturday afternoon as return southwesterly winds pump in more moist air. Saturday is not the most humid day of the weekend, though. Temperatures will be in the low to mid 90s with heat index values in the upper 90s.

Again, hydration is the “major key” on Saturday and will continue to be through the remainder of the period.

Sunday: Heat Index Hits the Century Mark – Wake Up 69° High 93°

Saturday’s actual temperatures are hotter, but Sunday it will feel hotter. Why? Higher dew points. Increased moisture moving into the region will exasperate the 90 degree temps, making it feel like it’s around 100°.

Stay cool, everyone.

Extended Outlook:
