Sunny Tomorrow, Rain/Storm? Thursday, Weekend BBQ Weather

Current Radar

Tonight: Clear Skies – 9PM 53°

Clear conditions remain with us this evening as temperatures fall into the mid 50s. A few high clouds may also pass by. Otherwise, a crisp and beautiful night is ahead!

Wednesday: A Sun-day On Hump Day – Wake Up 41° High 69°

Sunshine will be out in full force Wednesday, with afternoon highs approaching 70º! It doesn’t get much better than this.

Even this famous camel can’t get enough of the great weather.

Thursday: Chance of Showers, Maybe a Storm – Wake Up 52° High 69°

Well, what do we have here? Another chance of showers returns for Thursday. The consolation is that daytime highs will once again approach 70º.

The NAM has some appreciable rain for Thursday:

There’s a lot of uncertainty about shower activity and coverage at this point. A disturbance will be riding along the Gulf Coast in cadence with the subtropical jet stream. Moisture return won’t be all too impressive, but could support showers bubbling up from the south during the mid-morning hours through early evening.

Update: A thunderstorm cannot yet be ruled out Thursday. As the unorganized system moves closer to our area, we’ll have a better chance at hearing a rumble of thunder.

Extended Outlook: You’re Gonna Like the Way It Looks…I Guarantee It.

How do sunny skies and temperatures in the mid to upper 70s sound for the weekend? We’ll have to make it through the rain chances Thu.-Fri., first.

The weekend should be nice enough for a backyard barbecue.

Allergy Report:

The rain this week will provide *minor* relief for allergy sufferers. Keep the higher pollen counts in mind when doing yard work over the weekend. (Source: Pollen.com)
