Some Rain Monday, Then We Cool Off

Monday –  Some Rain, Maybe a Storm – High: 91°

A cold front is coming, which means off and on rain is expected during the day. Blanketing clouds will keep temps from soaring to 93° (where we were Sunday).

We aren’t exactly sure when the rain will start. The NAM4 model thinks we’ll see it around 10 AM:

Don’t fixate on that ETA. Rain and storms will be possible any time before the front arrives later on Monday night.

Some storms may be strong. A few may be severe. Damaging winds are the main concern in the event any storms misbehave.

When the front comes in Monday night, it’ll probably shove a little more rain in.

We aren’t expecting a wet mess, but some rain looks pretty likely. NWS has us down for 0.20″, which is usually enough to rain out “ball must roll” outdoor sports.
