It’s Time for CMAFest; Therefore, Heat & Humidity & Potential to Get Caught in a Storm

Current Radar

Tonight: 79° by 10 PM

Things will cool-down a bit by the evening, but we’ll still be sitting fairly warm.

The evening hours look dry, as well:

Thursday – Better Shot at Rain – Wake Up: 69º, High: 92º

Tomorrow will be another hot day, and rain chances will increase.

As southerly winds settle-in, we’ll see humidity increase a bit, and we’ll also see afternoon shower activity increase:

A few thunderstorms are possible during the afternoon and early evening, as well. Storms should stay below severe limits, however.

Friday – An Even Better Chance of Rain – Wake Up: 70º, High: 89º

As a low pressure system passes to our north on Friday, that will provide a little extra “oomph” for showers and storms to develop:

Warm afternoon temperatures in the low 90°s and humid conditions will aid in storm formation, as well.

CMA Music Fest: Saturday – Sunday

Really, really hot, y’all.

Take an umbrella and/or rain jacket with you, and be sure to stick with us on Twitter. We’ll be watching the radar. We may see some downpours or a few thunderstorms wander over downtown.

Drink lots of water.
