Small Chance of Rain Tuesday

Current Temps and Radar

Overnight we will remain clear and temps will cool into the lower 40’s.

Tuesday – Mostly Sunny, Isolated Showers & Thunderstorms Possible After Noon – Wake Up 44°,  High 74°

A warm front will dangle overhead, pumping moisture and allowing for a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms after noon.

Models suggest that the isolated thunderstorms may fire up during the hottest part of the day (1 PM – 3 PM) and stay along or south of I-40 into the evening. Below is a look at what the NAM is showing for 7 PM.

The warm front will move north of Nashville overnight allowing for the slight chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms to continue throughout the night. Gusty winds are possible with these isolated thunderstorms.

We aren’t sold on rain chances tomorrow. Neither is NWS; they have us down only for a slight chance of rain/storms in the afternoon.

Temps will only drop into the upper 40’s/lower 50’s!

Wednesday –  Partly Sunny, Showers & Thunderstorms possible After Noon  – Wake Up: 47°, High: 74°

As the warm front continues to push north towards the Great Lakes, moisture will continue to be pumped into Middle Tennessee. Afternoon temps in the mid 70’s and ample moisture will combine to give us a chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms after 1 PM.

A disturbance will move through overnight giving us a more widespread chance for showers but a lower chance for thunderstorms. Overnight temps will struggle to get below the 60’s.
