Weekend Update

Current Temps and Radar

Saturday – Fog Early, But No Rain! Also Warmer – Wake Up: 42˚, High: 68˚

Saturday looks like a great day after some ealry morning fog mixes out, with highs warming a bit from today into the upper 60s.

The clouds will break up and begin to move on out in the morning, making for a sunny afternoon!

Temps will fall to the low 50s overnight.

Sunday – A Nice Start, But Rain Comes Back (Maybe) – Wake Up: 51˚, High: 70˚

Another area of low pressure is moving in our general direction from Texas. This is one of those situations where the track of the system will determine whether it’ll rain.

The Euro, GFS, and NAM4 models all have the low taking a more southerly track, keeping the majority of the rain to the south of us.

That leaves the lower resolution, higher range NAM12 model, which takes the low a little further north, and has us getting quite a bit of rain on Sunday.

I think it will play out something like this:

We will have a chance for rain as the low stays further south, but that chance will be small. Expect some lighter showers rather than a soaking rain.

Extended: Once that system passes to our south, things stay dry for the beginning of next week.
