Current Official Hourly Observation (taken at :53 on the hour)
Current Radar Loop
Today – Mostly Sunny – High 88
Another cooler-and-drier-than-normal day is on tap. Even though there’s a trough of low pressure sitting on top of us, it lacks moisture. The most we will see is a sprinkle or two.
(Editor’s Note: I’m unsure this is “rad,” but whatever).
Saturday – Slight Chance of Rain – Wake Up 65, High 89
We will be mostly sunny once again, but humidity will be on the rise. A disturbance forecast to make its way through Middle Tennessee will increase our moisture and instability, creating a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms during daylight hours. Rain chances are better Saturday than they are today.
The NAM is showing the bulk of the activity staying South and East throughout the day. Here is what the NAM’s Simulated Radar shows at 10 AM:
There is a decent chance the #RainDome holds together.
Sunday – Sunny – Wake Up 66, High 90
We will be hot and humid. Temps will begin trending upward through early next week.
