A Southerly flow will continue today bringing in lots of moisture….It will be a very humid day. This moisture will be fuel for a series of disturbances that will march through.

.Expect to see scattered showers off and on all day and then our chance will drop overnight.

By sunset our chance for showers and thunderstorms will taper off a bit. The National Weather Service is forecasting thunderstorms as “likely” during the day and a “chance” overnight.

Sunday– Humid, Partly Sunny & Chance for Thunderstorms  – Wake Up 70, High 89

We will start the day with a Southerly flow which will continue pumping humidity into Middle Tennessee and another disturbance is expected to roll through. During the early afternoon the wind will become more Westerly and a line of showers and thunderstorms moves through Nashville.

The NAM’s Simulated Radar has the line of showers hitting us around 1 PM.

The National Weather Service gives the Capital City a “chance” of thunderstorms during the day and a “slight chance” overnight. In addition, the NWS Thinks if it does rain overnight it will be before 1 AM.

Monday– Hot & Mostly Sunny – Wake Up 71, High 92

High pressure will begin to build in and dominate our weather pattern. we will be hotter, drier and our chance for rain will be low.

The NWS gives us a “slight chance” of rain during the day and no chance during the overnight hours. Our best chance for rain will be during the afternoon and early evening.

The Storm Prediction Center does not put us at risk to see severe weather any day of this forecast!
