Tuesday – More Severe Storms Possible – Wake Up 68, High 81
The Storm Prediction center has put Middle Tennessee at a slight risk for severe storms.
The main hazards will be damaging winds, hail, and flash flooding.
The best chance for severe weather is during the afternoon and evening hours.
The NAM shows showers and thunderstorms in Nashville all day Tuesday, with the strongest storms flaring up around 1 PM:
As we move through the evening hours, the stronger storms should taper off, but showers will linger.
Wednesday – Thunderstorms Remain Likely – Wake up 66, High 81
The upper level low that will continue to spin up overhead, keeping rain chances “likely,” but without severe weather:
As we approach the evening hours the upper level low will begin to move North… this will lessen our chances for rain overnight. We will move from the “likely” catagory to a “chance” for rain.
