Wind damage, localized flooding and frequent lightning are all possible with any developing storms Wednesday. Thunderstorms should begin to fire in the early afternoon hours, and maybe even before that.
For example, the Hi-Res NAM model has storms firing of early in the morning. Here it is Wednesday 5 AM – 2 PM:
The NAM model maybe overdoing things just a bit, especially for those morning storms. As always, keep to twitter (@NashSevereWx) for the latest.
There will be enough moisture in the atmosphere that, if things come together, someone could easily pick up an inch of rain in Middle Tennessee. Isolated flooding may be an issue.

More strong to severe weather is possible. The front responsible for the rain and storms will continue to hang around. Hail and damaging winds are the main concern, along with the possibility of localized flooding and frequent lightning, inside any thunderstorm that develops.
