Rain, T’Storm Chances Today (Not Severe)

Today – High 80

This morning a noisy complex of thunderstorm juuuust missed us. It passed to our southeast:

The HRRR deposits more rain on us around 10 a.m. (remember, use models for guidance, not gospel):

Full disclosure: the models haven’t been exactly helpful/accurate this morning. Other models deliver rain later in the afternoon.

The cold front still has to push through, which is why we think we will see some showers, and maybe a thunderstorm, this afternoon. Severe weather is *not* expected. Lightning, maybe a few gusty winds the biggest threat.

We only got about 0.5″ of rain yesterday, and with those aforementioned early morning thunderstorms just missing us, we won’t even make 1″ of rainfall from this system.

Monday – High 77 & Tuesday – High 83

Maybe a little Monday morning drizzle, otherwise expect dry weather with lower humidity. Beginning Wednesday, humidity and summer rain/thunderstorm chances return.
