Memorial Day Weekend Forecast: Now With a Chance of Rain

Friday – 52/70

Little Chilly. Clear Skies. NWS forecasts a “surprisingly cold Friday night.”

Memorial Day Weekend

We will wake up to mid-to-upper 40s Saturday morning:

GFS Model 7 a.m. Saturday (weatherbell.com)

Weekend high temps: Friday 71, Saturday 76, Sunday 80, Memorial Day 83.

We’ll stay dry Saturday, but this afternoon our NWS said:

HOWEVER...DECIDED TO INSERT
20% TO 30% PROBABILITIES OF
PRECIPITATION SUNDAY AND
MONDAY AS A WARM FRONT MAY
GET HUNG UP IN THE REGION
FOR A COUPLE DAYS.

Most of the models do not think we’ll see rain either day. Closest thing I could find was the NAM around Sunday morning, which was producing rain in Kentucky which may be trying to get south into middle Tennessee:

The odds are it won’t rain. We’ll update this forecast tomorrow and through the weekend.
