Today – Windy – High 60°

The HRRR model depicts colder and drier air (as of 11 AM):

17z HRRR temps

This cold front coupled with a low pressure system moving eastward in the Ohio River Valley will give us strong winds through 6 PM. The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory until 6 PM.

  • Winds: 15mph – 25mph with gusts as high as 45mph!
  • Impacts: A few trees or power lines may be blown down. Isolated power outages are possible. Driving will be difficult at times especially for tractor trailers and large trucks.

Tuesday – Increasing Clouds – Wake Up 35°, High 50°

Colder air will continue to filter in on a W/NW wind at 5 mph. Clouds will be increasing throughout the day, until we are mostly cloudy overnight.

Wednesday – Light Showers Possible – Wake Up 30°, High 52°

A disturbance will move through and bring us a slight chance of showers. The models are showing that showers will be possible beginning at noon, and will end around midnight. S–w will be possible with this disturbance north of the Tennessee/Kentucky border!
