Dry Until a Friday Cold Front

Current Radar

THIS EVENING – 80° by 7 PM

We’ll continue to keep a few clouds around tonight, as temperatures fall to the low 80°s.

So, not an overly cool evening by any means, but dew points will still be ‘ok.’

Overnight lows will drop to near 60°.

WEDNESDAY – Early Birds: 60°, High: 85°

With no big weather makers shaking things up in the eastern U.S., we’ll stay in a warm and rain-free groove through mid-week:

Afternoon highs will once again pop up to the mid 80°s.

Humidity will stay ‘ok,’ as a north wind keep us somewhat drier through Wednesday.

THURSDAY – Early Birds: 61°, High: 86°

By Thursday, we will begin to see some changes.

Dew point temperatures will creep back up into the ‘extra deodorant swipe’ neighborhood.

The culprit? Winds shifting from northerly to southerly flow!

This is all in anticipation of a cold front set to be knocking on our door by Friday morning:

NWS hinted at some showers and storms possible late Thursday ahead of the front.

Models aren’t picking up on much of anything right now, but we’ll keep you in the know.

For now, prepare for another warm and a more humid day on Thursday.

Sneak Peek…

All models agree on showers and some thunderstorms moving through Friday afternoon and Friday evening, as the front pushes through the state:
