Sunday will be a bit warmer (high 86°) than Saturday, a little more humid, and definitely windier.
With warmer, humid air arriving, we can’t rule out a shower or two; however, most of the day should be rain-free. Models are introducing a chance of rain after dark, but I would not be concerned about any outdoor plans.
Just be careful.
Memorial Day still looks rainy.
Southwest winds will transport a very humid airmass here, ratcheting up humidity into near-oppressive levels. Dewpoints in the upper 60°s? No thanks.
With overcast skies, temps won’t reach 80°. The high is only 78°.
We can’t rule out rain in the morning. We think most of the rain will be after noon. These will be off and on showers. Rain totals should be around 0.20″. Not a complete washout, but enough to raise concerns about afternoon outdoor plans.
No severe storms are expected, but we may see a few common thunderstorms.
The best rain chance is actually Tuesday afternoon. Without a cold front this week to swing by to scour away the humid airmass, rain chances will linger for the rest of the work week. Thunderstorms also remain possible, but no severe weather is expected.
Such is summer.
