Today – Less Humidity High: 92°

It will be another dry day for us!

There is an Air Quality Alert for us today through 7:00 PM.

Ground level ozone concentrations may approach or exceed unhealthy standards. Mainly for children, adults, and people with respiratory disease like asthma should limit prolonged outdoor exertion.

High pressure is bringing in those dry northerly winds from the clockwise flow.

That’s why we are going to have a dew point in the upper 50s this afternoon!

It will really feel like 92° since there is less humidity. The winds will be pretty calm today at 5-10mph.

Expect some high clouds to stroll through overhead during the day.

Monday – Warming Up High: 94°

The winds will shift from north to south overnight Sunday into Monday morning.

The surface ridge will continue to keep us dry throughout the day!

By looking at GFS some high clouds could roll in around lunchtime. The afternoon looks to be partly cloudy.

Overall Monday looks nice and warm!

Tuesday – Isolated Showers High: 94°

First chance of rain for August! A few brief showers could pop up in the morning throughout the day. They will mainly stay east of I65 in the afternoon though.

As for how it feels outside – the upper 90s since the humidity will increase. Dew points are expected to remain in the mid 60s throughout the afternoon.

Extended: Rain chances will increase Tuesday evening into Wednesday. Isolated showers and thunderstorms could be around us by the morning commute on Wednesday. We will keep you updated of course!
